Gusto – Payroll and benefits are challenging, especially when you are a business owner and have a million other things to do. Gusto makes payroll (employees and contractor payments) and benefits super easy and automated, which has made a significant difference in my business. I highly recommend GUSTO for all of your payroll needs. In fact, my 1099’s and W2’s are being created as we speak – without my involvement!
Technology/Productivity Tools
Mailchimp – Mailchimp is a free email subscription/newsletter generating program. It is easy to use and also has some great features for building your list.
Clickfunnels – Create sales and learning funnels for your brand. Clickfunnels is the best way to create funnels to sell your course and products.
Kajabi – Need a place to put your learning package? This platform is excellent for posting membership content. It is super easy to set up and use — visual appealing and very user-friendly. Excellent product.
Dropbox – Dropbox is a great file management and sharing site. We use dropbox as a place to house all of our files. We not only can access them from anywhere, but we know if 
something happens to one of our computers (which it has) than all of the files are safely backed up. Plus it is a great way to share files with others.
Basecamp– Basecamp is a project management tool that helps keep us all organized over here. It is a great tool to keep multiple projects and people all in sync.
Sparkol Videoscribe– Sparkol allows you to create fantastic marketing videos to
explain your story and brand as well as training videos to add additional animations to your courses.
Harvest – Time tracking and invoice management tool. Love this one– easy to use and works great when working with others.
Images & Photos
elearning brothers – Elearning Brothers is a great elearning site to have available at your fingertips. They have templates, games and images that help to shortcut the process of starting all of these from scratch. They are professionally created and work well for many different course topics. Definitely a site worth bookmarking!
istockphoto – Need an image or illustration? We use istockphoto for many of our elearning course needs, as well as our blogs.
Inspiration & Fun Resources
Twine is an wonderful tool used to create interactive, nonlinear stories. Twine is a great tool if you do not like to write HTML code.
